A female driver who killed nine people when she drove into a group of pedestrians in Tugu Tani, Central Jakarta, has allegedly confessed to taking illegal narcotics before the horror accident on Sunday.
Directorate of Traffic Police of Metro Jaya has set the car driver Xenia, Afriani Susanti, as a suspect. While three other passengers in the car is set as a witness. Afriani crashed into a car driven by 13 people, eight of whom died on the spot.
According to Deputy Director for Law Enforcement Ditlantas Jakarta Police Adjutant Comr Darmanto, in addition to careless Afriani also have no traffic documents, such as driver's license (SIM) and the letter of the number of vehicles (vehicle registration).

*My Opinion:This incident reminds us to not drive a vehicle with reckless. The use of narcotics is also prohibited at the time of driving, drug use lead to fatal consequences for the driver because it can cause adverse effects such as dizziness and unfocused.Many innocent people died in this the accident.
The driver should be punished severely and justly as possible because she has claimed the lives of the people who are not guilty because I think even though she was jailed for life would not be able to reply the heartbreak families of the victims.
Many of the victims is youth that should be the next generation of Indonesia had to die because of ignorance of the driver.
I hope this accident will never happen for the next time in Indonesia.
